Principal’s Letter

Welcome to the Swiss International School of Qatar. Our aim is to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. Through the International Baccalaureate (IB) including the Primary Years Programme (PYP) for 3 – 11 year olds, the Middle Years Programme (MYP) for 11 – 16 year olds and the Diploma Programme (DP) for 16 – 19 year olds we encourage students to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that others, with their differences, can also be right.swiss-international-school-in-qatar-principal

We will be providing a first class education striving for excellence in all academic, cultural and sporting pursuits, giving every child the confidence to discover where their gifts lie and to enjoy their talents, in a well-ordered and supportive school community, where the self-respect and dignity of each person will flourish. Ultimately we want every child to bounce into school each morning with a smile on their face. Happy, thriving and secure children will be a hallmark of SISQ as we work in partnership with parents to prepare children for their role in an ever-changing global community and to prepare future generations through international education.

As one of only a few full IB schools in Qatar we aspire to establish SISQ as the leading school in Qatar and amongst the leading international schools in the Gulf region.

We hope that we may be of service to you and your family.
