You’ll love the fresh full-to-bursting flavours at the Live Cooking Station, nestled outdoors among the trees and gardens of Al Aziziyah Boutique Hotel, in Aspire Zone, where between 3 pm and 8 pm (10 pm at weekends) you can enjoy some of your tastiest casual dining favourites, and the kids can frolic on the grass.
Aspire Zone, including Aspire Park, have glorious gardens with diverse plants, flowers, shrubs, bushes and trees, and the green gardens of Al Aziziyah Boutique Hotel are similarly inviting for children to play on or just to chill out and relax while enjoying the extremely tasty dishes that are available at the Live Station in the Patio Café. Al Aziziyah Boutique Hotel is one of the city’s very few urban country estates. Lush greenery and polished gardens set the scene for a most relaxing visit.
The Patio Café – a scenic garden café, nestled among blossoming pergolas, offering drinks and snacks in a casual environment for memorable moments with family and friends. The menu is surprisingly long and varied, with pizzas, crepes, saj and waffles, plus English traditional fish and chips, Japanese Shrimps Tempura, lots of kinds of mouth-watering pizza, Arabic mezzah, Latino fajitas, internationally acclaimed burgers – the list goes on – and to drink, a wonderful selection of marvellously crafted oh-so-tasty mocktails.
We started ordering from the helpful chefs at the Live Station and they created the tastiest shawarma and the most succulent Brisket Saj you could hope for. As they explained, the brisket is premium quality beef slow-cooked for eight hours, mixed with many spices, and served in a very thin and light bread or pastry. Yummy …
For a refreshingly different tang, try the Blueberry and Avocado Bowl which is a succulent green salad made extra tasty by the addition of blueberry and avocado.
Our seafood pizza was the most seafoody-tasting ever, and if you are really hungry, the Chicken Tenders, the Steak Sandwich, the Burger Sliders, to pick just some from this outstanding menu, are 100% guaranteed to make sure you leave supremely satisfied.
And that’s before the desserts …
We could have had ice cream (many kinds of ice cream!), cheesecake, chocolate or milky cake, but we tried the crepes as a dessert which were really scrumptious, especially with their strawberry, kiwi and banana toppings; the same could be said for the waffles which were lighter than I expected but just as enjoyable as I had come to expect from the skilful, creative chefs at Patio Café and Al Aziziyah Boutique Hotel.
While enjoying the dinner and casual country setting, take the chance to enjoy the beautiful gardens, swimming pool and water features. Watching the setting sun in natural comfort is a view you won’t often be gifted so try it out at Patio Café while the window of opportunity is open!

At Aspire Zone, Doha’s first ‘centre of excellence’, the emphasis is on aspirations in sport and recreation where Aspire Academy and Aspetar Sport Hospital have made massive impacts at the local and regional level, and even at the world level where all the well-laid plans are coming to fruition with the staging of probably the world’s major public event, the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™. The World Cup is watched by millions, even billions, in every continent and within a year those eyes will be fixed on Qatar and the country’s expression of its aspirations in the world of sport.
