Speaking on BYH 2022, NeXTfairs for Exhibitions and Conferences co-founder and General Manager Rawad Sleem said they are extremely pleased to be welcoming partners, sponsors, exhibitors, and visitors to the third edition of Build Your House Exhibition.
He said they are proud to offer a platform that pushes the government to support the development of areas and lands. The most recent state budget amounted to QAR74 billion, with projects to develop citizens’ lands receiving priority spending from these allocations.
This year’s BYH Exhibition continues to fuel the growth of the real estate sector and strives to exceed the QAR400 million worth of deals signed during the previous two editions of the exhibition.
Kahramaa PR and Communications Manager Mohammad Ali Al-Mohannadi, also expressed how the exhibition is one of the most important events supporting the national economy, creating a common space for various entities working in building and construction, uniting the efforts of government and private companies to serve the Qatari community. Kahramaa’s slogan this year is Secure Your House. A team of experts and engineers will present modern ways to secure and protect the house by avoiding short circuits across all internal and external electrical installations.
Their team will also provide advice on inspecting the water installations to avoid any damages that might happen because of water leakage in the house.
BYH Exhibition is considered a crucial link between companies in the residential design and building industry and the Qatari citizens who wish to build or modernise their homes. Guests can visit over 150 exhibitors from five main sectors: Consultants, Contractors, Suppliers, General Services, and Smart Solutions.
Two large country pavilions from Turkey and Portugal will also have exhibitors showcasing high-quality products and services to Qatar and the Middle East. The pavilions will showcase a wide range of high-quality building products and materials such as aluminium, cable protection, hardwood flooring, suspended ceilings and roof systems, along with award-winning furniture, upholstery and home textiles from reputable brands.
Smart conferences
Attendees can also learn crucial information from the Knowledge Sharing Conference and Future and Smart Living Conference. Running over the course of the three-day event, the Knowledge Sharing Conference will introduce practical insights and inspirational topics on design concepts, construction phases, licensing steps, implementation, and finishes, as well as smart technologies and a sustainable living environment for building modern homes.
Please note that visitors can take reassurance from the stringent processes that the BYH Exhibition are following to adhere to the regulations of the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH). The venue will be sanitized twice each day.
The health status of participants and visitors will be checked before entry, through their Ehteraz app. The wearing of masks will also be required inside the venue. Visitors have to pre-register here to attend the event.
BYH Exhibition will be held from 28 to 30 March at Halls 8 and 9 of the QNCC. Daily opening times are from 10 am to 10 pm. Find out more about the BYH Exhibition at buildyourhouseqatar.com.
