Shangri-La Hotel, Doha welcomes guests for the upcoming Chinese New Year with an array of special treats and unforgettable experiences at the hotel’s signature restaurant, Shanghai Club until 11 February 2019.
The hotel’s Chinese restaurant, Shanghai Club, will prepare special culinary delights in honour of the Chinese New Year with a special set menu available only during the celebration period.
The set menu features Chinese specialities, such as Deep-Fried Lobster with Mayonnaise and Spicy Mango Salsa, Steamed Silver Cod with Scallions in Superior Soy Sauce in Hong Kong Style and Stir-Fried Wagyu Beef Striploin, to name a few, all cooked to perfection by Chinese Chef Chen Hann using selected ingredients that symbolise health, prosperity and good fortune.
To complete the experience, Shanghai Club will be offering the guests a chance to receive a hóngbāo (special discounted vouchers and offers), as well as a giveaway of traditional delicacies.
Shanghai Cub is located on the 43rd floor, offering breathtaking 360-degree city views and chic retro interiors. Diners can choose from two eight-course menus, priced at QAR 288 per person and QAR 388 per person.
