The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) will be offering booster vaccinations and PCR testing at the Lusail COVID-19 drive-through centre starting this Wednesday, 26 January.
Six lanes of the ten-lane drive-through centre will be dedicated to booster vaccinations whilst the remaining four lanes will continue to offer COVID-19 testing for eligible groups. The centre will provide booster vaccinations, not first and second doses, to the public by invitation only through an appointment system, from 8 am to 10 pm.
To receive a booster dose at Lusail centre, individuals should have an invitation appointment via SMS identifying their time slot. They will be seen on a first-come-first-seen basis, at any time within the operational hours.
How to set an appointment
COVID-19 vaccine booster doses are offered by the Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) to all individuals six months after their second vaccine dose. PHCC is contacting eligible individuals directly to set an appointment. If you qualify and has not yet been contacted by the PHCC, call their hotline number on 4027 7077 to schedule an appointment. COVID-19 vaccination appointments can also be made via the PHCC mobile app, Nar’aakom.
