With one of the year’s most anticipated holidays on the horizon, Mandarin Oriental, Doha is inspiring guests this Eid Al Fitr with a summer package specially curated to bringing families together and helping them create memorable moments for both adults and children.
Available from 4 June to 31 August, families will enjoy the Summer Escape stay package with an upgrade to deluxe family accommodation, daily breakfast for two adults and two children and early check-in. The hotel’s youngest guests will delight to a Papinee themed room and storytelling adventures.
The kids’ programme this Eid Al Fitr is created to engage children throughout the holiday with fun and immersive storytelling activities aimed at providing young guests with memories they will treasure long after their stay. Activities include dedicated storytellers in a venue filled with animal characters such as Leo the lion from the savannah of Africa or Vani the monkey from the jungles of Mexico, with three sessions during the four days of Eid Al Fitr holiday, starting at 6 pm to 8 pm.
Guests can escape from the bustling city and immerse themselves in The Spa at Mandarin Oriental Doha which occupies 3,030 square metres and features six private treatment rooms, a couple’s suite, two VIP suites and extensive heat and water experiences which include two indoor pools. Offering exclusive and tailored treatments such as Harmony of Pearls and Singing Sand Dunes which uses thousands of quartz crystals and pearl powder to enhance radiance. The hotel’s rooftop pool with private cabanas makes it the ideal place to sunbathe or enjoy the glowing sunset with the breathtaking views of the city as a backdrop.
The hotel’s nine dining outlets offer an inviting culinary experience, introducing unique flavours from destinations around the world, as well as focusing on classic local dishes and delicacies.
Inspired by renowned Chef Izu Ani’s travels, the restaurant IZU showcases an interpretation of modern Mediterranean cuisine with surprising layers of flavours. Facing the beautiful Barahat Msheireb, the restaurant features three seating areas, comprising of an indoor ground and mezzanine level and an outdoor terrace.
A highly anticipated opening is the hotels signature restaurant Mosaic which is due to open this summer. Mosaic allows guests to embark on a culinary journey with nine open kitchens offering an eclectic collection of the worlds’ most sought after classic dishes cleverly served to allow sampling and sharing.
Mandarin Lounge and Baraha Lounge celebrate the elegant joy of Afternoon Tea and are ideal for relaxed get-togethers or business meetings with the finest selection of bespoke blends of tea, as well as coffee, small bites and delicacies. Unique flavours of homemade gelato and frozen desserts await at Gelato, a colourful and lively outlet situated on the town square for a treat to take away or dine-in.
Four further dining outlets are scheduled to open later in 2019. These include a Chinese restaurant, serving authentic Cantonese and provincial dishes from around China. The Mandarin Oriental Cake Shop with a selection of handcrafted cakes, pastries and chocolates. Aqua a rooftop alfresco lounge, adjacent to Mosaic, which will offer guests spectacular views of Barahat Msheireb and the stunning Doha skyline. Lastly, Ambar is a stylish bar inspired by the desert landscape and the amber glow of the setting sun which provides an intimate venue for guests to socialise, unwind and relax over drinks.
