The city’s most luxurious hotels are inviting guests to explore a host of wonders this Ramadan, with an unmissable staycation and the city’s most spectacular Ramadan tent
Elevating Doha’s Ramadan offering to new heights, the city’s majestic Katara Towers has unveiled a host of enticing and unforgettable offers to be enjoyed with family and loved ones. One of the city’s most recognisable landmarks, the soaring structure – built to resemble the mighty crossed swords of Qatar’s national emblem – is home to two of the city’s most luxurious hotels, along with its largest grandest and events venue, Katara Hall.
This Ramadan, the luxurious properties will be hosting a grand tent at Katara Hall, stretching from its gilded dining room out onto its warm, ocean-front terrace and offering unique and inimitable Iftar and Suhoor experiences in the city. Designed with the utmost luxury in mind with soothing blues, whites and Katara’s signature touches of gold – merging contemporary design with a rich heritage.
Katara Towers’ Iftar and Suhoor will offer a myriad of live cooking and food stations spanning both traditional Arabic and international cuisine. The tent will also feature dishes from both hotels’ signature and award-winning restaurants. Available for QAR300 per person, guests can avail an early bird offer of 15% off until 29 February, as well as a discount for group bookings.
Guests are invited to break their fast with an array of flavoured dates, koulas, and kidri, before moving onto selections of soups, salads, and mezze – with highlights including traditional muhammara, wine leaves, labneh and mint, alongside contemporary twists like avocado hummus and garlic potato salad.
An indulgent spread of cold and hot dishes from both Raffles and Fairmont’s famous restaurants will delight diners, such as antipasti, osso bucco, and gnocchi from Raffles Doha’s Alba by Enrico Crippa – Michelin-starred chef Enrico Crippas’ first restaurant outside of Europe – and jumbo prawn salad and 120 days aged Australian beef tenderloin from L’Artisan.
Offering a taste of Fairmont Doha, diners can enjoy seafood towers from VAYA!, fresh sushi from Provok and delicious roasted and marinated fish from Masala Library. Traditional Ramadan and Arabesque dishes include lamb kibbeh, meat sambousek, lamb ouzi, chicken tagine and a shawarma station, amongst many more.
While the grand Katara Towers will host the most splendid Ramadan celebration in Doha, the hotels themselves, palatial Raffles Doha, and yacht-inspired Fairmont Doha, are offering unmissable Ramadan staycation offers to be enjoyed as part of the feast.
Inviting guests to experience its stunning all-suite property and its world-class facilities, Raffles Doha is offering rates of QAR2,140 per night, including an upgrade to the next category and Iftar or Suhoor for two. Inspired by the heritage of Qatar, Raffles Doha’s suites are mini palaces, with vaulted hand-carved ceilings, gold and white furnishings and sweeping ocean- view terraces – all fitted with state-of-the-art technology and with Raffles’ famous butler service.
Across the signature tower, Fairmont Doha is offering rates from QAR1,090, including an upgrade to the next room category and Iftar or Suhoor for two. Steeped in contemporary grandeur, Fairmont Doha is home to the world’s largest chandelier, a cutting-edge fitness centre and regenerative spa, with rooms and suites inspired by superyachts and picturesque ocean views.
Katara Towers’ Iftar is available daily from the call to prayer to 8:30 pm for QAR300 per person with a discount rate available for group bookings and an early bird offer of 15% off until 29 February; Suhoor is available daily from 9:30 pm to 2:30 am for QAR300 per person with a discount rate available for group bookings.
