In preparation for FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™, Doha International Airport (DIA) will accommodate airlines that operate shuttle flights for the tournament.
Qatar Airways shuttle flights to and from Cairo for the Lusail Super Cup will operate from DIA and not Hamad International Airport (HIA), according to a travel alert from Qatar Airways.
The travel alert is issued for passengers travelling onboard shuttle flights QR7311, QR7375, or QR7313 on 7, 8 and 9 September between Cairo and Doha for the Lusail Super Cup.
Meanwhile, Jazeera Airways, Air Arabia and Fly Dubai bookings show that flights with football fans will land at Doha International Airport from 15 September.
Jazeera Airways announced that starting 15 September, all their regular Doha flights will be temporarily moved to DIA instead of at HIA due to preparations for the World Cup.
