As part of its social responsibility, public health services provider Boecker® hosted children from Dreama Orphans Care Centre, to a day of fun at KidzMondo Doha at the Mall of Qatar, where the youngsters learned more about insects through a unique pest management activity.
The children started their tour on an exciting journey to explore the world of insects and learn how to differentiate between the good and harmful ones. The fun was then taken to the next level as the young pest controllers engaged in a challenging mission to safeguard KidzMondo city from virtual pests. The children learned how to carry out the crucial activities in a fun, dynamic and challenging way.
Carla Ghaleb – Boecker® Qatar Country Manager, said that social responsibility and supporting local initiatives such as Dreama is one of their company’s key pillars. She said that it is their duty to reach out to local communities and educate them on the importance of public health.
By engaging children in a fun-filled, learning experience at KidzMondo, we believe we are playing a vital role in supporting their physical and mental growth. This will help them get a boost on their self-esteem, and help them become more confident while using their imagination and creativity.’
After tackling the virtual pests, the children were given the opportunity to explore the rest of KidzMondo and try their hand at a range of activities. They later shared and enjoyed lunch with the Boecker® team.
