The Cultural Village Foundation – Katara is launching activities for Eid Al-Adha on the Katara Corniche this Sunday, 16 June 2024.
Catering to all groups and ages, Katara will host activities such as musicals, popular and theatrical performances. These include a play entitled ‘The Garden of Dreams,’ in addition to performances by bands from China, Syria, Morocco, Jordan, and Africa, as well as the Qatari Ardah and the Police Music Band.
The Eid al-Adha programme will also include a wide range of art workshops for children like drawing, painting, origami and others.
Katara Eidiya will be distributed inside cars at specific points on Katara streets. Fans of astronomical shows will also be on a date on the second day of Al Head with a group of three-dimensional films in Arabic and English, and over the three days of Eid, the audience will enjoy fireworks shows on the Katara Corniche.
Art exhibitions such as the Sumud Exhibition in Building 18, Hall 2, and the Summer Exhibition 2 in Building No. 13, will continue to open their doors to visitors from 10 am until 10 pm. Katara Beach is also considered an opportunity for sea lovers to spend family time.
