Msheireb Downtown Doha will mark this year’s Eid Al-Fitr with captivating events and activities, promising one of the biggest and most engaging Eid festivals for visitors of all ages.
According to Dr Hafez Ali Ali, Director of Marketing and Communications at Msheireb Properties, they are delighted to present a diverse range of enjoyable activities for everyone to make the most of the Eid festivities. He said that Msheireb has always been a preferred and prominent destination and they are thrilled to offer activities that cater to the entire family.
Kids activations, live performances
From 21 to 28 April, starting at 5 pm, Barahat Msheireb will offer visitors an immersive experience featuring captivating musical performances and enchanting storytelling sessions. Guests can also preserve their special Eid moments at the immersive 360-photobooth. Food and beverage stations will offer a delectable array of culinary delights, candies and desserts.
The Barahat will feature a range of activities designed to ignite the imagination and creativity of children, ensuring they have a blast during the celebration. From arts and crafts to interactive experiences and games, children will have plenty of opportunities to unleash their creativity and make the most of the festivities.
The Baraha Square will also feature magical nights of elegant music by talented musicians who will mesmerise the audience with the enchanting sounds of violin, piano and saxophone.
Sikat Wadi Msheireb, meanwhile, will be the perfect destination for an unforgettable Eid celebration offering a wide variety of fun and entertaining activities for all age groups.
Kids can participate in a fun and simple Eid trivia contest for a chance to win Eid vouchers from participating outlets in Msheireb Downtown Doha. Kids will also be invited on stage to answer simple trivia questions. With over 30 winners every day, 240 lucky winners will be selected throughout the eight-day celebration, from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
Families are also invited to indulge in delicious treats from over 15 kiosks and enjoy the lively atmosphere as they watch their kids take part in the celebrations. Performers and singers will keep the Sikkat Al Wadi area activated throughout the joyful days of Eid Al Fitr at three different stations.
Visitors will experience the excitement of family-friendly roaming performers, provided by Qatar Tourism, with eye-catching costumes, dance skills and captivating stage acts such as magic shows, dance performances, funny clowns, and interactive games.
The Ministry of Municipality is organising a fun and interactive planting workshop for children at Sikkat Al Ghafa on 22 and 23 April, from 6 pm to 9 pm. Participants will have the opportunity to experience planting and taking home an actual plant to nurture.
