Four Seasons Hotel Doha recently unveils its new Latin restaurant Curiosa, in collaboration with renowned Michelin-star Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten.
The restaurant features an innovative menu and design that invites visitors to the warmth and vibrance of Latin America and Spain. It echoes a hacienda-style architecture, with every aspect of the restaurant firmly influenced by the vibrancy of cultures, with a large terrace area and newly landscaped gardens overlooking the Arabian Gulf.
Indoors, the open kitchen serves as the focal point of four separate dining rooms – including a private space – each offering a unique experience as well as a cosy bar rich in deep green and yellow hues that mirror the indoor and outdoor setting, and bridges the deep greens of the indoor with the freshness of the outdoor terrace.
The four distinct dining room settings have, in each room, their own unique and distinctive personality where all forms of art adorn every corner.
Warm and vibrant
Food & Beverage Director Joris Quintelier said they are thrilled to introduce Curiosa, which he said arouses curiosity and evokes the warmth and vibrant spirit of Latin feasts. He is inviting food enthusiasts to immerse in the culture and savour a vibrant experience in the restaurant that stimulates all senses.
The menu, created by Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten and helmed by Executive Chef Edgar Hurtado, offers a diverse array of Latin-inspired bites designed to please exquisite tastes.
According to Chef Hurtado, Curiosa is such an exciting concept, where the food is the perfect blend of cultures, textures, colours and flavours.
I look forward to welcoming guests to discover the bursting flavours of the cuisine and the warm, vibrant spirit of Latin feasts.
Notable standouts on the menu are the Charred Octopus with smoked paprika crème fraîche and guajillo vinaigrette as well as the Organic Arroz Con Pollo with crackling skin and lemon zest.
The restaurant also offers signature cocktails such as the Ginger Lime Margarita, a signature Jean-Georges drink, served all around the world; and the En Llamas with Scotch Whiskey and cinnamon and finished with house-made vanilla, cinnamon, lemon cordial and Amaretto liquor.
Curiosa is the perfect destination to discover the warmth and energy of Latin traditions with its vibrant interior and globally-inspired dishes.
