Qatar Diabetes Association (QDA) recently launched a free mobile app to allow and facilitate patient access to their services. The app may be dowloaded on Android and iOS devices.
QDA Executive Director Dr Abdullah Al Hamaq said the innovative app called QDA will allow people with diabetes to communicate with specialists, medical teams and nutritionists for enquiries. Individuals who wish to voluteer their services to QDA may also facilitate their application through the app.
QDA Head of Health Education Department Dr Amal Adam said that the app seeks to improve the continuity of care for people with diabetes and ensure follow-up.
People with diabetes should enjoy the freedom to manage their conditions. The new app from QDA will make these possible, as the patients will have the proper guidance of a medical team readily on their mobile phones.
