Pullman Doha West Bay celebrates the inspiring career journey of Christina Kiwan, whose commitment and passion have propelled her from her beginnings in hospitality to her current role as Director of Sales and Marketing. With over 20 years in the industry, Christina now oversees three critical departments—Sales, Marketing, and Events—demonstrating exceptional leadership and expertise.
Christina began her career in hospitality in 1999, gaining hands-on experience across roles with some of the most respected hotel chains. She joined the pre-opening teams for Holiday Inn Intercontinental, Rotana Gefinor, and Safir Heliopolitan, where she honed her skills in operational excellence and adaptability, setting the stage for her future success in sales and marketing leadership. At Mövenpick Hotel, she was in charge of MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events), weddings, and banqueting, solidifying her expertise in event management and client engagement.
Christina then moved to Doha, Qatar, where she started at Warwick Hotel as a Sales Manager, overseeing sales strategies and client relations. Her success at Warwick was a key stepping stone in her career, eventually leading her to Millennium Plaza Doha, where she was promoted to Director of Sales and Marketing.
Christina’s leadership at Millennium Plaza Doha was instrumental in driving revenue growth and enhancing the hotel’s market presence, which eventually led her to Pullman Doha West Bay. At Pullman, Christina has continued her legacy of success by expanding her role to Director of Sales and Marketing, where she now leads the hotel’s sales, marketing, and events strategies, further strengthening its position as a premium destination for travellers and event organisers.
Christina’s educational background in business management has provided a solid foundation for her leadership journey. She earned her degree in Business Management, equipping her with the knowledge and skills necessary to drive growth, innovate marketing strategies, and optimize team performance.
Fluent in Arabic, French, Spanish, and English, Christina’s multilingual abilities have been a significant asset in building strong relationships with international clients and diverse teams, enhancing her effectiveness as a leader in the global hospitality industry.
