The Philippine Embassy in Qatar announced that fully vaccinated Filipinos arriving in the Philippines from 30 May will no longer be required to present a negative RT-PCR test.
This exemption covers Filipinos 18 years and older who received at least one COVID-19 booster shot; 17 years old and younger accompanied by fully vaccinated parents; and fully vaccinated foreign nationals.
Those who are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, however, are required to present a negative RT-PCR test taken within 48 hours or a negative antigen test taken within 24 hours prior to departure. These passengers will still undergo facility-based quarantine until the release of their negative RT-PCR test taken on the fifth day of their arrival. They must also undergo home quarantine for 14 days.
