The hour-long giant balloon parade, the highlight of the three-day Eid Festival organised by Qatar Tourism, has been rescheduled to later in the evening today, 3 May.
The balloon parade was originally scheduled to begin at 4:30 pm at the Doha Corniche, but will now commence after the fireworks display at 9:30 pm. The parade has been rescheduled because of the dusty weather, according to Visit Qatar.
The three-day Eid Festival is ongoing until Thursday, 5 May, and features carnival games, inflatables, roaming shows and food stalls. Karwa is offering free bus shuttle services for attendees of the festival. Seventy buses has been allotted to ferry visitors to the Corniche and will run at a 10-minute frequency.
