Grade 10 MYP Design students at Swiss International School (SISQ) were once again given the opportunity to design and make products to donate to Qatar Animal Welfare Society (QAWS).
Their aim is to further develop positive charitable relationships within the community whilst applying knowledge and understanding of the design cycle process.
The students relished the challenge and created various animal furniture and equipment made from locally discarded materials. They also collaborated to produce a range of products that included dog ramps, cat climbers, feeders, beds, shelters, and general play equipment.
Over 200 animals will benefit from this project. Everyone is invited to visit QAWS to see how these students made a difference to the local animal charity.
