Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) is showcasing the full breadth of its programmes during the annual International Education Fair in Turkey, in the cities of Ankara, Istanbul and Izmir from 9 to 15 March.
HBKU will set up booths throughout the event, where prospective students will be able to meet with HBKU staff and faculty members, and avail of important information about their programmes, campus life and potential research opportunities.
Maryam Al Mannai, VP for Student Affairs at HBKU, said that by participating in the International Education Fair, HBKU will seek to leverage historical and current relations with Turkey, while introducing prospective students to their programmes, and inviting them to pursue their studies in Qatar.
It is our hope that the next generation of innovators will benefit from our multi-disciplinary offerings and use their degrees to make an impact in their local communities and beyond.’
The annual event showcases a host of international education institutions and academic experts through a series of one-on-one sessions, interviews, seminars, presentations and workshops, to assist prospective students make informed decisions about the next phase of their academic journey.
HBKU will have booths at the Istanbul Fair (European Side) Hilton Istanbul Bosporus on 9 – 10 March; at the Istanbul Fair (Asian Side) Dedeman Bostanci Hotel Convention Center on 11 March; at the Ankara Fair, JW Marriott Hotel Ankara on 13 March; and at the Izmir Fair, Hilton Izmir on 15 March.
On the sidelines of the event, a delegation from HBKU will deliver information sessions about the university’s programmes and activities. Several additional visits and tours are also planned at leading universities in Ankara, Istanbul and Izmir.
