The Cultural Village Katara is all set to celebrate Eid Al Adha Festival this Friday with a series of new performances and events at the Katara Corniche.
Visitors will enjoy the exciting artistic show inspired by Arabic heritage, which revolves around the famous character of Arabian Tales and his wonderful stories that mix excitement and suspense. The stories will be presenteddaily at the shadow theatre.
The performances will also include stories from Roman Caesar, Alice in Wonderland and Aladdin, in addition to a live acrobatic show. The first show will be from 6:30 pm to 7 pm, while the second show will be from 7:45 pm to 8:15 pm. The third and final show will be from 9 pm to 9:30 pm.
Eid gifts will be presented to children at 7 pm and 8:15 pm. Fireworks display is at 9:30 pm, expected to light up the night sky and enthrall visitors.
Dr Khalid Bin Ibrahim Al Sulaiti, General Manager of Cultural Village Katara said that as a Foundation, Katara is always excited to initiate celebrations, especially during festivals like Eid Al Adha. He said that the main attraction – the shadow theatre – which will be presented with a selection of stories and acrobatics, is a selection that combines fun and excitement, bringing enjoyment and happiness to children and the rest of the family.
