The Ministry of Interior (MOI) has warned against circulating and publishing rumours or fake news on social media.
In a series of tweets, the ministry said that circulating rumours is a serious offense and those who are involved will be made legally accountable.
MOI further advised the public to be keen to get information only from original sources and to stay away propagating unverified and anonymous stories.
