NAMA Center, one of the affiliated centres of Qatar Foundation for Social Work (QFSW), recently held its annual closing ceremony to honour its staff and employees, in recognition of their outstanding efforts and achievements over the past year.
The centre, through the annual event, recognises the contribution of everyone in the accomplishment of the centre’s strategic goals especially in the field of human development and in harnessing the potential of the youth for their role in the economic and social development of Qatar.
Maryam Bint Abdullatif Al-Mannai, Acting Executive Manager of NAMA Center, said that their annual gathering is like an act of solidarity to Qatar National Vision 2030.
This year is an important turning point because it is the year when we transform our vision from its focus on family development, to a more ambitious vision – to build younger generations and contribute to the creation of Qatar’s future and the realisation of its vision.’
NAMA Center offers many initiatives, programmes and practical courses for the benefit of the youth and covering various fields. They also assist Startup entrepreneurs, providing all kinds of moral, financial, consultative and logistical support to help them achieve their aspirations.
Since 2013, the centre has been working under the umbrella of QFSW and is a member of the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), the Arab Network for NGO, and the World Family Organisation (WFO).
