NAMA Centre, an affiliated centre of Qatar Foundation for Social Work (QFSW) and one of the leading institutions in the country with the mission to empower the youth, launched Souq Nama 2017, which runs from 13 to 18 November at Doha Festival City.
NAMA Centre’s initiative is in support of overcoming the challenges Qatar is currently facing, in line with the call to support national industries and local products. The centre is granted free promotional spaces at DFC.
Maryam Bint Abdullatif Al-Mannai, Acting Executive Manager of NAMA Centre was thankful to Doha Festival City for providing the ample space for Souq Nama 2017.
Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser established NAMA Centre in 1996 to provide a stimulating environment that contributes to investing in the potential and creativity of the youth. Since 2013, the centre has been working under the umbrella of QFSW.
NAMA is also a member of the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), the Arab Network for NGO, and the World Family Organisation (WFO).
