Team players and business managers of football club Paris Saint-Germain is currently in Doha for their traditional winter tour in Qatar. The team will make use of the facilities in Aspire Zone and the country’s ideal weather conditions to train in the country for four days and meet with fans and sponsors.
Aside from the training, the club’s Qatar Tour is an opportunity for them to showcase the country as a tourist destination, allowing the team players to join the various activities of their Qatari sponsors. They will also have a ‘photo shoot’ with pictures to be circulated to international media.
Fans will also get the opportunity to watch the players train this Tuesday, 15 January, 5 pm at the Khalifa International Stadium in Doha, one of the venues for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, and during the inauguration of the brand new Paris Saint-Germain Academy in Doha, which will be run year-round on the pitches of Qatar Foundation.
According to Paris Saint-Germain Chairman and CEO Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, Qatar offers the ideal conditions to allow the team to prepare for important fixtures in 2019.

Since 2012, the Qatar National Tourism Council (QNTC) and Paris Saint-Germain have been promoting sports and leisure tourism in Qatar as partners. QNTC has organised several tours for Paris Saint-Germain teams, including the 2014 and 2015 Qatar Handball Tour, the 2015 Qatar Ladies Tour and the 2013 and 2015 Qatar Tour.
