Qatar Airways this week resumed flights to Riyadh in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with a daily service.
QR1164 from Hamad International Airport to King Khalid International Airport took off from Doha at 1:45 pm local time and landed safely at its destination at 3:10 pm. The flight was operated by Qatar Airways Airbus A350-1000. Later this week, Qatar Airways will resume flights to Jeddah, on Friday, 15 January and Dammam on Saturday, 16 January.
Gulf leaders earlier this month signed the Al Ula solidarity agreement at the Saudi Arabian city of Al Ula, paving the way for the end to the Gulf crisis and for the previously blockading countries to reopen their borders and airspace to Qatar.
