Qatar Leadership Centre (QLC) is inviting Qatari professionals to apply for admission to their National Leadership Programs, with classes beginning in January 2022.
According to QLC Vice Chairman and Managing Director, HE Sheikh Dr Abdulla bin Ali Al-Thani, more than 700 Qatari professionals have completed the National Leadership Program, which now constitutes a critical resource of highly qualified talent in a range of specialisations, ready to play a role in Qatar’s dynamic future.
He said that QLC welcomes the interest of all qualified applicants for 2022.
Programme to strengthen professional capabilities
The programmes are part of Qatar’s investment in the next generation, allowing participants to strengthen their professional capabilities in many areas through this year-long, (nine months) multi-modular programme.
Each of the three programmes – Rising Leaders, Government Leaders and Executive Leaders – provide Qatari professionals with critical access to courses in creative and transformational leadership, strategy and analysis, negotiation, economics, project management, and communications, all delivered by leading international partner universities and institutions.
QLC General Manager Dr Ahmad Abdulla Al-Kuwari said the world is turning to leadership education, which remains a fundamental tool to upgrade and retool professional knowledge and experience, in a period of challenging circumstances across all sectors.
He explained that their programmes provide Qatari professionals with extensive knowledge, customised and adapted to address future challenges.
QLC’s educational partners include the University of Chicago, Duke University, Georgetown University, Harvard University, University of Cambridge, University of Oxford, and HEC Paris, as well as professional partner institutions such as Al Jazeera Media Institute and Civil Service College Singapore.
