The Hamilton International School welcomed Qatar’s Minister of Education and Higher Education, HE Dr Mohammad bin Abdul Wahid Al Hammadi, for an official visit to the school this week.
The purpose of the visit was to check the precautionary measures taken by the Hamilton International School to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The visit also follows a comprehensive inspection focused on the school’s infrastructure and the measures of protection that have been put in place to keep students, teachers and staff safe.
The school enhanced its health and safety policies in line with guidelines issued by MOEHE and incorporated best practice from ISP schools around the world. Some of these measures include social distancing in classrooms, masks worn at all times, stickers on floors to remind students to keep safe distance, stickers on walls to remind everyone of proper sanitising techniques, and installation of a thermal camera to detect fevers. A full list of the school’s health and safety guidelines can be found here.
