Qetaifan Projects signed a memorandum of understanding with JMJ Properties on the sidelines of Cityscape Qatar 2022 at the Doha Exhibition Convention Center (DECC). Qetaifan Projects is fully-owned by Katara Hospitality and the developer of Qetaifan Island North.
The agreement was signed by Qetaifan Projects Managing Director HE Sheikh Nasser bin Abdulrahman Al Thani and JMJ Properties Chairman and Founder Sheikh Jabor bin Mansour Al Thani. The ceremony was also attended by Qetaifan Properties Chief Operating Officer Hesham Sharaf and Head of Business Development Sheikh Nasser bin Abdulaziz Al Thani.
Qetaifan Projects and JMJ properties will develop a mixed-use five plots of mid-rise located at the southern area of Qetaifan Island North. The plot area is approximately 25,000 square metres, with an investment value of QAR600 million.
Sheikh Nasser bin Abdulrahman Al Thani said that collaborating with local companies and the private sector is part of their strategy to work on the development of Qetaifan Island North.
He said that despite all the challenges, there is no doubt that the continuous foreign and local investors interest is proof of the investors’ trust in the development of Qetaifan Island North project, and despite the responsibility, they are pleased with the local investment.
Sheikh Jabor bin Mansour Al Thani, meanwhile, said that achieving a long-term economic vision through strategic partnership with Qetaifan Projects and by investing in Qetaifan Island North is essential to serve all sectors.
Sheikh Nasser bin Abdulaziz Al Thani said they are optimistic about the partnership and that there’s no doubt that they will be working together to make the partnership a success.
