Qetaifan Island North
Qetaifan Island North is Qetaifan Projects’ first project; a distinct island featuring state-of-the-art water park, luxurious hotels, unrivaled accommodation and world class facilities that make it a modern, globally competitive master planned integrated community with a unique design inspired by the rich culture and nature of the region.
The island’s location and its distinctive waterfront represent a new and exciting way of life that offer residents an integrated living experience. Qetaifan Island North, located off Lusail City features seven beaches, making it a distinct waterfront destination. The island spans approximately 1.3 million square metres, with 830,000 square metres especially allocated for attractions.
Sheikh Nasser Bin Abdulrahman Al Thani expressed his delight during the launch. He said that they are fortunate to be working on one of the most honourable national projects, which will contribute effectively to Qatar National Vision 2030, especially as the country is witnessing a remarkable development in all sectors in the light of the 2022 World Cup preparations. He said that there is no doubt that the freehold law allowing ownership for non-Qataris on Qetaifan Island North will contribute to increasing opportunities for foreign investment in the real estate sector.
Qetaifan Projects has signed a number of agreements, including 17 memorandums of agreement with international tour operators to enhance more tourism activities in Qatar, in collaboration with Katara Hospitality, the Qatar National Tourism Council, and Qatar Airways.
We believe in the future of Qetaifan Island North and we are working hard to make the island a competitive tourist attraction with a new concept of living, where all the required amenities are at your fingertips, including a school and a medical centre.’
The waterpark, considered as one of the most appealing attractions on the island, will be operated by Rixos Hotels.
