As part of its ongoing collaboration with private sector partners to develop tourism offerings and experiences, Qatar Tourism Authority (QTA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Katara Hospitality to manage Al Enna, a winter camping project in Sealine that will kick off this Thursday, 1 November and continue until 15 April 2019.
Under the agreement, Katara Hospitality will manage the beach facilities, services, and activities, including cabin rentals, 32 kiosks for food and beverages, and a play area for children. The company will also provide and manage the required human resources, such as security personnel, cleaners, lifeguards and technicians, among others.
According Omar Al Jaber, QTA representative and official spokesperson of Al Enna Project, while improving services is one of their main objectives, benefiting from local talents in the hospitality sector is part of the QTA strategy to develop the tourism sector.
The partnership between QTA and Katara Hospitality is a long standing strategic partnership that includes joint work on various events and other areas of cooperation.’
Speaking on the partnership, Sealine Beach Resort General Manager Nawaf Al Obaidly, said they are honoured to enter the partnership with QTA. Sealine Beach Resort has years of experience in the hospitality sector and is committed to the success of the project.
Al Enna project, which seeks to develop the winter camping experience in the Sealine area, is supported by various government and private bodies, including the Ministry of Municipality and Environment, the Ministry of Interior, the Public Works Authority, Qatar Olympic Committee, Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation, Batabit (Qatar Centre for Motorcycles), Mawater and Katara Hospitality.
