The COVID-19 testing centre at Sidra Medicine will no longer accept walk-ins or in-person registrations, in light of the current situation and in the interest of public health and safety as well as the safety of their staff, patients and visitors.
People must now register online to get a PCR or serology test done at Sidra Medicine.
In an official announcement released recently, Sidra Medicine said they have a ‘zero-tolerance’ policy towards violence and abusive behaviour towards any of their staff and they are working closely with the police who have the full authority to deal with anyone being aggressive towards their staff, patients or visitors or those who are not following the guidelines on social distancing.

Important information
- The Sidra Medicine COVID-19 testing centre is a private testing centre open from 7:30 am to 10 pm daily
- Once you arrive at Sidra Medicine, you will be requested to show proof of your PCR test appointment before you will be allowed entry to the premises. Anyone who walks in without an appointment will be turned away
- The Sidra Medicine COVID-19 testing centre offers PCR and Quantitative Serology Testing. Both methods require online registrations
For COVID-19 PCR testing the centre currently offers three choices
- QAR160 – Limited Slots. Result in 18 hours
- QAR300 – Result in eight hours (if swab was collected before 6 pm)
- QAR660 – Result in three hours (if swab was collected before 10 pm)
Please note that after the PCR result is ready, it may take up to 24 hours for your result to be reflected in Ehteraz. Sidra Medicine conducts COVID-19 tests for people who are travelling.
In the interest of public health and safety, anyone experiencing symptoms or is suspected to have COVID-19 are advised to go to an HMC facility or to the nearest Primary Health Care Clinic.
