Qatar Airways and Qatar National Tourism Council (QNTC) launched Qatar Live this week – a series of music concerts and festivals taking place in Doha from 5 to 19 December.
UPDATE: CELS Events, part of CELS Group, have announced their appointment as exclusive producer and promoter of the inaugural Qatar Live. CELS Group is joining the consolidated initiative to bring and present world-class entertainment acts to Qatar and make the country a top winter destination.

The events were organised to align with the 24th Arabian Gulf Cup Qatar 2019 (26 Nov to 8 Dec) and the FIFA Club World Cup Qatar 2019™ (11 to 21 Dec) to provide world-class entertainment for football fans, visitors and local residents.
Global superstar Katy Perry, legendary band Maroon 5, international Latin music star Maluma, and international music legend Cheb Khaled are set to perform in Doha between 13 and 19 December at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC).
From 5 to 7 December, some of the region’s most famous music stars will also perform at Katara Cultural Village and at DECC. The line-up features Qatari musician Fahad Al Kubaisi, Yara, Omar Al Abdallat, Ibrahim Dashti, and Rahma Riad.
For fans of electronic music, Qatar Airways and QNTC are also bringing the Daydream Festival to Qatar for the first time, on 12 and 20 December at The Ritz-Carlton Doha. The world-renowned festival takes place each year at different locations around the world, bringing together the best DJs in dance and electronic music.
The line-up of DJs for 12 December include Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike, Robin Schulz, Sam Feldt, Matt Sochon, and Wankelmut. Featured on 20 December are DJs Afrojack, Lost Frequencies, Mark Knight, Steff Da Campo, and Matt Sochon. Tickets for all events can be purchased at qatarlive.qa from 4 pm (AST) on 20 November.
