From 15 September to 30 December, thirteen airlines will start operations at Doha International Airport (DIA), the second airport in Doha located 15 minutes away from the city centre and within 30 minutes from most of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ stadiums.

- Etihad Airways (UAE)
- Flydubai (UAE)
- Himalaya Airlines (Nepal)
- Jazeera Airways (Kuwait)
- Nepal Airlines (Nepal)
- Pakistan International Airlines (Pakistan)
- Pegasus Airlines (Turkey)
- SalamAir (Oman)
- Tarco Aviation (Sudan)
Car parking facilities are available at both the DIA departure and arrival terminals. Please note that parking charges apply (see below) and payment options include cash or card.
Prayer rooms, high-speed WI-FI, Ooredoo and Vodafone kiosks, ATM and foreign exchange services, as well as special services for passengers with reduced mobility, will also be available.
Car Parking charges are as follows:
- Hourly rate of QAR10 (for the first five hours) and QAR5 for each additional hour (up to 24 hours). The parking charge for 24 hours is QAR145.
Arrivals
The arrival terminal of DIA is located at Ras Abu Aboud along on C-Ring Road. It can handle 2,000 arriving passengers per hour and has 52 arrival immigration counters. Passenger pick-up facilities are available. Parking payments can be made at payment machines located within the terminal or upon exit to the parking area.
The arrivals terminal is connected to the city via the National Museum Metro Station (Gold Line) approximately 800 metres away. Buses, limousines, taxis and car rental facilities are easily accessible via the terminal.
Qatar Duty-Free retail options, currency exchange and ATM, as well as food and beverage options are also available. Passengers can purchase SIM cards at Ooredoo and Vodafone booths.
Qatar Tourism and Discover Qatar counters are also available to assist passengers who are planning to explore the country.
Departures
The departure terminal of DIA is located in the Old Airport area of Doha, at the junction of D-Ring Road and Al Matar Street. The terminal is designed to handle 2,000 departing passengers per hour.
It has 83 check-in desks, 52 departure immigration counters and 22 departure boarding gates. Access into the terminal building is reserved for ticketed passengers only. The departures terminal is connected to the city via the Al Matar Al Qadeem Metro Station (Red Line), which is approximately 600 metres away, with multiple bus routes to the terminal.
Car parking payment can also be made upon exit to the parking area. Retail and food and beverage options, wellness services, currency exchange and ATM are available inside the area. Passengers can purchase SIM cards and top up roaming data at Ooredoo and Vodafone booths within the terminal.
DIA is set to operate starting this week, from 15 September until 30 December, to facilitate additional passenger traffic from the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™.
