Doja Cat’s fourth studio album, Scarlet, is slated for release this Friday, under Kemosabe and RCA Records. Motivated by a desire to move away from pop music and address criticism regarding her rap credentials, she is releasing a more ‘masculine’ follow-up to her third album. One of the singles ‘Balut’ is named after a Filipino delicacy of the same name.
