‘Woman of the Hour’ is directed and produced by its star, Anna Kendrick. Premiering to rave reviews at the Toronto International Film Festival, Netflix reacquired the film after its debut. Kendrick plays the contestant, while Daniel Zovatto portrays Alcala. Even if you’re familiar with the true crime story, ‘Woman of the Hour’ promises a fresh, gripping perspective.
