Farmers markets, which are also called yards, have opened for the 2023-24 winter season, offering fresh vegetables, fruits, herbs, plants and more.
The Ministry of Municipality represented by the Agricultural Affairs Department run five farmers markets: Al Khor and Al Thakhira, Al Wakra, Al Sheehaniya, Al Shamal and Al Mazrouah/Al Mazrooah with products from more than 140 local farms.

Torba Farmers Market
Established in 2017, Torba Farmers Market is Qatar’s first and leading artisan farmers market, and plastic-free farmers market. It is a vibrant marketplace for locally made and harvested food that connects local producers with the community. Monthly themes, live cooking, bigger plant section, fun and engaging workshops, heaps more greenery around, and closer to amenities such as toilets and ATM machines to make your market experience more enjoyable.
Location: Behind Multaqa (Student Center)
Opening times: November to April. Every Saturday 8 am – 10 pm. Pet friendly during the early hours of the market 8 am – 5 pm.

Farmers Market at Expo 2023 Doha
While shedding light on the diversity of agricultural products in the region and providing a venue for showcasing local produce, the Expo 2023 Doha (International Horticultural Exhibition) is featuring a Farmers Market until the exhibition closes in March 2024. Various types of vegetables, fruits and plants will be at offer.
Location: International Zone, Expo 2023 Doha, Al Bidda Park
Opening times: Saturday – Thursday 10 am – 8 pm and Friday 1 pm – 8 pm
