Zulal Wellness Resort by Chiva-Som has announced the outstanding achievements of its wellness culinary team, showcasing the talent and skills of chefs in various categories at the Salon Culinaire 2024 which took place on 12 to 14 November 2024 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC).
The Salon Culinaire Competition at Hospitality Qatar continues to spotlight the extraordinary talent within Qatar’s hospitality community, elevating culinary excellence year after year. This platform allows seasoned chefs to showcase their skills and inspires the next generation, all within an electrifying, live show environment. This year’s competition introduced exciting new challenges, bringing chefs from across Qatar together to test their expertise and passion.
The Zulal Wellness Resort culinary team enjoyed exceptional success across various categories. The dedicated brigade of chefs that were recognised include:
- Chef Dhristi clinched the gold medal in the Signature Healthy Dish category, with Chef Chinnawat earning a silver medal. This marks the second consecutive year the team has won medals in this category.
- Chef Abdull secured a gold medal in the Talented Signature Dish – Live Demonstration category.
- Chef Kavindu received a silver medal for his impressive skill in Gastronomical Qatari Dish – Live Demonstration.
- Chef Sutasinee, demonstrated exceptional talent in the Four Plates of Dessert category, winning a silver medal.
- Chef Jindarat excelled in the Global Ethnic Flavours Challenge category earning a silver medal.
- Chef Ritesh secured a bronze medal in A Tiny Treats Cake category.
Additionally, Chef Ekasit (Eaky) and Chef Kanokwan (Gina) showcased their expertise in Thai cuisine during a Masterclass Cooking demonstration, alongside Chef Hassan, who presented French and Mediterranean cuisine.
